MEETINGS WITH MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS

Through this season, we (FTC 15965) organized a lot of activities with middle school students from schools in our town, Beclean, Romania. We want to ensure the continuity of this team even after we finish high school, which is why from now on we share our passion for robotics in our younger colleagues. One of our goals is to influence the little ones in a positive way, as they learn through the power of example. We explained to the children what STEM education is and its benefits. One of the most interesting activities was the one with the 8th grade students. They confessed to us that they are undecided about choosing a high school profile, so we jumped in to help them with advice. 

We held lots of workshops where kids had the opportunity to drive our robot, look at our portfolio and ask questions about STEM education. Moreover, in the summer we organized two workshops with the little ones. We challenged them to build robots out of LEGO bricks. They surprised us.💛
